Crack the Vault: Operation Phantom Protocol is now roughly 21.5% cracked, and the season has moved past its opening grind. This is the stretch where the leaderboard starts to separate. The vault timer runs to November 2, so there’s still plenty of runway, but the cheap-rank window from week one is closing. With about 78% of the vault still standing, the community has real work left to do.

Here’s what matters most from here.

The quick version

  • 💰 $10,000 season prize pool
  • ⏳ Vault timer runs to November 2
  • 🔓 Roughly 21.5% cracked, with most of the vault still standing

Why power fired now counts for more

Crack the Vault splits its prize pool by contribution. If the community cracks the vault, about 70% of the pool pays out by power contributed, roughly 15% goes to the top 10, and roughly 15% goes to the top 100. Podium prizes and the Vaultbreaker bonus for whoever lands the final hit come on top of that.

Power you fire now stays on the board for weeks. Power fired at the buzzer has to fight for whatever rank spots are left, and by then the top of the board has usually settled. If you’ve been waiting for the right moment to make a push, mid-season is a good one.

Events set the pace

Exclusive live events rotate one at a time throughout the season, and they’re when a firing push stretches furthest. Gem events are worth watching too, since extra Gems mean more crate pulls. The in-app vault dashboard shows what’s running, and Vex, the in-app vault strategist, can tell you what to fire next based on your own Gems and rank.

Keep the daily habit going

Objectives refresh every day and hand out Gems, luck, and free items. Better luck feeds better crate pulls, and better pulls feed more power. Crate pity also carries between pulls and only resets when you hit the tier, so a run of unlucky opens still moves you closer to a good one.

Spend beats hoard

One rule holds in every season: only up to 4,000 Gems carry into the next one, and multipliers and consumables clear at reset. Anything banked past that cap doesn’t follow you, so put your Gems to work on the board instead of sitting on them.

What happens at the end

If the community cracks the vault before the timer runs out, contributors split the $10,000 prize pool under the breakdown above. If time runs out first, the top 100 players still share a consolation pool.

Gems are a free in-game currency. They aren’t bought or cashed out, and they have no cash value on their own. The prize pool is what pays out if the vault cracks.

Jump in

Crack the Vault is free to play, with no deposit needed. If you’re already in, this is the stretch to keep the pressure on. If you haven’t started, there are still about two and a half weeks left to build a position.
